1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring 3-5 years of experience and prior travel assignment history. Details Work in a 2-room Cardiac Cath Lab within a Level 1 Cardiac, Level 2 Stroke, and Level 3 Trauma facility Heavy Interventional Radiology (IR) caseload including neuro and stroke cases Common procedures include cardiac diagnostics, STEMI, device implants, angiograms, runoff, stroke treatment, cerebral procedures, AAA, and TCAR 1:1 patient ratio Uses Philips Xper equipment Meditech EHR system 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM On-call/call-back required on weekends only, with 10 call shifts per month No floating required Every other weekend schedule Requirements Active RN license (State or Compact) required AHA certifications required 3-5 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required Interventional Radiology (IR) experience with neuro and stroke experience preferred Must be able to work independently with minimal onboarding due to high-acuity rural lab setting Additional Information Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity cardiac and interventional radiology cath lab setting Facility recognized as a Platinum Chest Pain Center by the American College of Cardiology Weekly orientation provided Must wear hospital-issued scrubs only First-time travelers will not be considered; previous travel assignment experience is required Candidates who have worked perm staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time Local candidates accepted only if outside a 60-mile radius to qualify for travel rate
