Night Shift Guaranteed Hours Why You'll Love This Assignment Work in a supportive Level II NICU Care for newborns requiring specialized monitoring and treatment Participate in high-risk deliveries and C-sections Utilize EPIC electronic medical records No call requirements Opportunities to float within the health system network Hospital-provided scrubs Welcoming environment for first-time travel nurses What You'll Do Deliver specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU Attend high-risk deliveries and cesarean sections as part of the neonatal care team Assess, stabilize, monitor, and support newborns with complex medical needs Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Educate and support parents and caregivers throughout the care journey Maintain accurate and timely documentation using
EPIC EMR
QualificationsRequired Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 2-3 years of recent NICU nursing experience Current BLS certification Current NRP certification Current STABLE certification Experience attending deliveries and C-sections Preferred Attributes Strong neonatal assessment and stabilization skills Excellent communication and family-centered care approach Ability to remain calm and focused in fast-paced clinical situations Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to high-quality patient care Ideal Candidate We are seeking NICU nurses who are: Compassionate and patient-focused Confident caring for critically ill and premature newborns Skilled in neonatal stabilization and monitoring Adaptable and eager to contribute to a collaborative care environment Committed to providing exceptional support to infants and families Additional Requirements Weekend availability as needed Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Acrylic and gel nails are not permitted in accordance with facility policies If you're ready to bring your neonatal expertise to a highly respected NICU team while enjoying competitive pay and a rewarding travel experience, apply today.
