Job Description

Oncology
  • RN Nurse Navigator
  • (FT) The Oncology Nurse Navigator is a registered nurse with oncology specific clinical knowledge who offers individualized direct and indirect patient care.
S/he works side by side with the physician, advanced practice provider, social work, nutritionist, and all other staff involved in the patient's care, developing plans of care based on clinical condition, symptomology and diagnostic results. S/he is able to remain flexible to an ever-changing healthcare system and is an active participate in quality improvement. S/he demonstrates performance consistent with Madisonhealth's mission, vision, and goals.

Licensure:
maintains a current Registered Nurse license within the State of Idaho. 2. Strong organizational skills. 3. Ability to prioritize and reprioritize quickly. 4. Ability to develop collaborative relationships both internally and externally. 5. Strong interpersonal skills. 6. Strong verbal and written communication skills. 7. Ability to work in teams. 8. Ability to work autonomously. 9. Basic computer skills. 10. Critical-thinking skills. 11. Working knowledge of insurance coverage and procedures. 12. Working knowledge of community resources. 13. Oncology nursing experience preferred.
Minimum Work Experience:
1. A minimum of one year of work experience in a medical office is preferred.
