Job Description

Status:
Full Time 3 (12) hour shifts
Shifts:
Day-Evening The position will primarily be a dedicated Triage RN in BGIC with daily overlap in the Emergency Department. This role requires an experienced emergency/triage nurse who maintains strong clinical competency across both settings and supports safe, efficient patient flow while demonstrating flexibility. The nurse will have and maintain a working knowledge of knowledge of EMTALA requirements. The Emergency Department is a fast paced-dynamic department with a highly experienced team. The staff consist of physicians, registered nurses, technicians and health unit coordinators who are close knit and work exceptionally well together. Our Immediate Care Clinic provides treatment for minor injury and illness not requiring a trip to the emergency room. Our versatile staff include Nurse Practitioners, LPNs, CMAs/CNAs and Clerks. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is looking for a challenging, yet exciting career, caring for a broad span of illness and injury. We are looking to add quick thinking, technically savvy people who can handle a rapid environment fueled by a steady drip of adrenaline and a periodic bolus of the unexpected.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program
Experience:
Minimum of one (1) year RN experience preferred. Recent Emergency/Critical Care nursing experienced preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Current Idaho State RN license;
BLS, ACLS, TNCC
