9659688-60101 Job Description Embark on a rewarding full-time opportunity this school year as a Certified School Nurse (CSN), providing expert support across five vibrant educational sites. This contract position begins as soon as possible and offers a dynamic schedule of 7 hours per day, ensuring you have both a consistent routine and engaging variety in your daily work. Join a collaborative district-wide nursing team alongside two other CSNs, where youll be supported by health office RNs and health clerks at each campus.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license and Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential required Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred Strong understanding of developing and monitoring individual healthcare plans for students Familiarity with IEP (Individualized Education Program) processes, including initial evaluations and re-evaluations Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficient in health data entry and student management systems

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct nursing care to students across elementary and early childhood education sites Monitor and manage individual healthcare plans, ensuring compliance and high-quality care Supervise and offer guidance to school-based nurses and health clerks Participate in IEP meetings, conduct evaluations, and collaborate on student care planning Track and document health-related student data with accuracy and confidentiality Serve as a point of contact for medical issues, emergencies, and health education within the school community This position is ideal for a school nurse who thrives in a team-oriented environment with robust support, allowing you to make a meaningful impact across a diverse group of students and professionals.
