Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our inpatient care team. Setting:

Inpatient, with collaboration across surgery and gastroenterology Support General Surgery while also assisting with Gastroenterology services, providing comprehensive care to patients Collaborate on gastroenterology consults and procedures

Team Environment:

Work closely with surgeons, gastroenterologists, nurses, and allied health staff to ensure exceptional patient outcomes Perform patient evaluations, daily rounding, and treatment planning Support pre- and post-operative care management Provide patient and family education Assist with care coordination, discharge planning, and follow-up Qualifications Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Illinois National certification in good standing Prior experience in surgery, gastroenterology, or inpatient care preferred Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off and CME allowance Malpractice insurance Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $120,000-140,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
