Schedule/Hours:
Day Shift On-Call Rotation (Weeknights, Weekends, and Holidays)What You Bring:
Active Illinois RN Licensure Graduate of an accredited nursing program (education verification required) At least 3 years of RN experience with a minimum of 1 year in critical care Cardiovascular Intervention experience BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications (all current) Passing score on an EKG test (prior to orientation completion)Role Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive patient care Administer prescribed medications and specialized treatments for cath lab procedures Accurately document patient information and interventions according to established standards Develop and adapt individualized patient care plans in collaboration with institutional guidelines Support and educate patients and families, ensuring strong communication and comprehension Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and shared governance Navigate and help resolve clinical or systems challenges, escalating concerns appropriately Maintain patient flow, provide telephone triage, and assist with ambulatory clinic needsTravel & Employment Benefits:
