Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in patient care across diverse clinical settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your comprehensive nursing skills, including experience with EMR systems, medical documentation, and patient assessment, to deliver exceptional care. As a vital member of our team, you will provide compassionate nursing care, support treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations and vital sign assessments to evaluate patient health status. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform venipuncture with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques. Manage airway care, ventilator support, and tube feeding for patients requiring critical or acute care. Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth. Assist with diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection/processing, radiology procedures like sonography or mammography, and wound suturing. Provide specialized care for populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, memory care residents, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those receiving hospice & palliative medicine. Support discharge planning, case management activities, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions across settings such as hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, or home & community care. Experience Proven nursing experience in acute care settings such as ICU (Level I & II Trauma Centers), emergency rooms, or surgical units. Critical care experience including ventilator management, trauma medicine, or cardiac catheterization procedures. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for medical documentation and coding (ICD-9/10; CPT). Experience working with diverse patient populations including behavioral health patients, those with infectious diseases, or individuals requiring long-term care such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities. Demonstrated ability to perform complex procedures such as ostomy care, spinal taps, gastric lavage, or dialysis treatments. Knowledge of infection control protocols and HIPAA compliance standards to protect patient confidentiality and safety. Prior roles involving triage in urgent care or emergency medicine environments are highly valued. Join us in delivering outstanding nursing care that transforms lives!
