2831396 BrightStar Care of Central DuPage is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Bloomingdale, IL. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans that promote health and recovery. Responsibilities In-home skilled nursing visits and non- hospital facility staffing opportunities in schools and skilled facilities. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patient conditions and document changes in health status. Provide patient and family education on managing medical conditions and post-treatment care. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with company and regulatory standards. Respond promptly to patient and family requests and concerns. Requirements Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois. Current CPR certification. Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred, especially in home health care or related fields. Recent Acute Care experience with ER, ICU, or ECU preferred IV Access and Phlebotomy experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes within the Bloomingdale area.
