Perm Responsibilities:

Develop individualized care plans based on patients' diagnoses, medical history, and treatment goals. Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians. Provide patient education regarding medication management, potential side effects, and adherence to treatment regimens. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of services. Communicate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers regarding patients' progress, changes in condition, and treatment plans. Serve as a resource to colleagues on infectious disease-related issues and best practices. Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families coping with the challenges of infectious diseases. Foster a therapeutic and compassionate environment that promotes trust, dignity, and respect for all individuals. Facilitate referrals to support services, community resources, and infectious disease specialists as needed.

Qualifications:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in acute care or infectious disease nursing. Strong experience administering IVs. Excellent critical thinking, assessment, and decision-making skills.
