Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse Shift - 12 hour shifts Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice are maintained. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including health history and physical examinations. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical conditions. Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition or emergencies. Provide education and health coaching to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Document all nursing interventions and patient responses accurately in medical records. Requirements Current IL RN licensure and BLS certification At least 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing.
