This travel opportunity focuses on cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) dayshift hours with on-call requirements, and includes floating to clinically appropriate units as needed—leveraging your licensure, competencies, and scope of practice to support multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in the CVOR, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols. Float to various clinical units such as emergency departments, ICUs, step-down units, and medical/surgical floors based on staffing needs and your expertise. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care. Maintain compliance with licensure and certification requirements across multiple hospital departments. Respond to on-call duties as required to meet patient care demands.

Qualifications & Certifications:

Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license. Valid CPR/BLS certification. ACLS certification mandatory. Familiarity or certification in PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and CSU-ALS is preferred or required depending on floated units. Demonstrated ability to adapt and deliver care in diverse clinical environments. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
