This assignment is ideal for an experienced RN who is passionate about making a meaningful difference for students and is comfortable working one-on-one in a school-based setting.

Key Qualifications:

Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license Previous experience in school nursing or pediatrics strongly preferred Clinical proficiency with G-tube feedings, VP shunt care, and seizure management Ability to provide comprehensive care for students who are non-verbal and use a wheelchair Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, therapists, and families Compassionate approach with a deep commitment to student safety and dignity

Responsibilities:

Deliver dedicated, individualized care to one student throughout the school day Manage and administer complex medical supports, including G-tube feeding and seizure protocols Monitor, assess, and respond quickly to changes in the students condition Collaborate with teaching and support staff to ensure the students medical needs are integrated into the learning environment Maintain accurate medical documentation and communicate regularly with caretakers Promote an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for the students engagement and learning
