A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Requirements:
Illinois license to practice as a RN Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; hospital and nursing home experience preferred Current CPR certification Verification of current auto insurance Ability to work independently Strong sense of initiative and urgency in addressing patient crises Excellent communication skills Flexibility to perform dutiesResponsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in the home setting. Assess patient's health status and develop a plan of care to meet their needs. Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention. Monitor patient's progress and adjust care plans as needed. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care. Maintain accurate records of patient care, condition, progress, and concerns. Territory Southside Chicago Qualifications Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License 2 Years Nursing Experience Proficient in patient care and assessment Experience with catheterization and IV insertion Knowledge of EHR systems Skilled in medication administration and care plan development Familiarity with home health and community care practices Basic life support certification Experience in long-term care and assisted living settingsJob Type:
