Qualifications and Experience:

Current and valid RN or LPN/LVN license Previous experience in a school setting or pediatric care strongly preferred CPR and First Aid certification required Comfortable working with young children, particularly those in Pre-K Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Ability to follow care plans and respond appropriately to medical needs during the school day

Role Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 nursing care for a Pre-K student according to individual health plans Administer medications and monitor health status throughout the school day Document interventions, observations, and any incidents as required Engage with educational staff to ensure seamless integration of care and learning Advocate for the student's health and safety needs within the classroom Communicate clearly and compassionately with parents/guardians regarding health-related updates
