Qualifications and Experience:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Current Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential (required) Experience in pediatric, school-based, or community nursing preferred Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and respond promptly to emergent situations Commitment to effective health education, advocacy, and culturally responsive care

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care, including first aid, medication administration, case management, and individualized health plan development for students Conduct health screenings, immunization tracking, and communicable disease prevention efforts Serve as a resource to students, staff, and parents by providing health counseling and promoting wellness initiatives Collaborate with educators, social workers, and administrators to create an inclusive, health-focused environment Maintain accurate and confidential health records while complying with FERPA and HIPAA guidelines Participate in or lead district health policy reviews and emergency preparedness planning This contract position makes a real difference in student lives while expanding your skillset in a dynamic setting.
