Full Job Description Job Title:

RN Surgery (Operating Room Registered Nurse)

Location:

Elgin, IL 60123

Shift:

Day Shift | 07:00 AM - 03:30

PM Pay Range:

$52.00/hr

Contract Length:

13 weeks (with possibility of extension)

Department:

Surgery Key Responsibilities Provide direct perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in accordance with hospital policies and standards Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during operative procedures Monitor patients throughout the surgical process and respond to changes in condition Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines Participate in on-call rotations including weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required Requirements Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 1 years of recent Operating Room/Surgery experience BLS certification required Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and patient safety protocols Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team
