Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in outpatient Hematology/Oncology settings under physician supervision.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage care for oncology and hematology patients.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and monitor treatment response.
- Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment options, side effects, and ongoing care.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to coordinate patient-centered care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation using EMR systems. Qualifications
- Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of Illinois.
- Certification as an Adult-Gerontology or Family Nurse Practitioner (AGNP/FNP) required.
- Oncology nursing experience strongly preferred; new graduates with oncology RN background may be considered.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual skills are a plus, especially in Spanish or Ukrainian.
