What you will do: The RN House Operations Administrator (HOA) serves as the highestlevel clinical and operational leader on duty during their assigned shift when senior leadership is not on site. The HOA provides hospitalwide oversight of clinical operations, patient flow, staffing, safety, and emergency response. Acting in the interest of the organization, the HOA exercises independent judgment and has the authority to interpret and enforce policies, provides direction to team members, direct clinical and operational activity, resolve complex issues, allocate resources, and make real-time decisions necessary to ensure continuity of safe, highquality patient care across all units. The role functions as the central decisionmaker for realtime operations, support frontline staff, coordinating interdepartmental activity, and maintaining situational awareness of capacity, acuity, and resource needs.
What you will need:
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Certification:
Current, unrestricted RN license in the State of Illinois; Current CPR Certification (issued by American Heart Association); Current ACLS Certification (or obtained within 90 days of hire).
Experience:
Minimum of three years of progressive nursing experience, with at least two years in a formal or informal leadership role (e.g., Charge Nurse, Team Lead, Supervisor). Experience in a critical care or high-acuity setting is highly preferred.
Unique or Preferred Skills:
Demonstrated leadership ability with experience in direct supervision and staff development. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
