The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care to children and their families. This role requires a blend of clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients, ensuring their comfort and safety. Conduct thorough assessments, including vital signs and triage, to determine the health status of patients. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including catheterization and emergency medicine procedures when necessary. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in developing and implementing individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment options, and preventive care. Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition promptly. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in case management activities to coordinate care across various services. Assist with diagnostic procedures such as sonography and CT scans as needed. Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN license in the state of practice. Previous experience in pediatrics or related field preferred. Strong clinical skills in patient care, including knowledge of cardiac catheterization techniques. Ability to perform vital signs assessments accurately. Proficient in triage processes and emergency medicine protocols. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and team members. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple tasks effectively.
