00/hr About the Position Gateway Regional Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse to join our Dialysis team. In this specialized role, you will provide quality hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis care to adult and aging adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced dialysis nurse or a Registered Nurse looking to specialize in dialysis nursing. Training is provided for nurses without prior dialysis experience. What You'll Do Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to patients requiring hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis Provide care in both inpatient and outpatient dialysis settings Assess patients before, during, and after dialysis treatments Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status Administer medications and treatments as ordered Follow established clinical, regulatory, and safety standards Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary dialysis team Educate patients and families regarding treatment, care, and disease management Assist team members as needed to support safe and efficient department operations What We're Looking For Graduate of an accredited nursing program Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license Tablo experience highly preferred Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross One year of dialysis nursing experience preferred Dialysis experience is preferred, but training is provided for qualified nurses new to dialysis Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care What We Offer Gateway Regional Medical Center provides a comprehensive benefits package for eligible full-time employees, including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance options View Guide 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Paid vacation time Paid sick/mental health time Illinois Paid Leave Floating holiday Opportunities for professional growth and development Supportive team environment Why Join Gateway Regional Medical Center?
