Teaching Hospital Unit Information:

Beds:
24 Avg 115 patients a day Minimum Years of Experience required: 3 years minimum ER experience, 1 year w/ travel experience o Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes, with 3 years of ED experience
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
o Neonates
•geriatrics o Minor traumas (MVAs), sepsis, COVID, STEMI, stroke, DKA, mental health, respiratory issues, SOB, cardiac issues, chest pain, neuro issues, AMS o Travelers not expected to work triage area
Patient Ratios:

1:5; 5 th patient will be low acuity needs minimal resources (happens during surge times)
Required License, National Certification, Certs:

BLS, ACLS
; PALS preferred Skills required: o Cardiac rhythm interpretation, strong IV skills, basic ED knowledge of drips and med administration, obtaining EKGs Support within the
Department:
