Department Expansion Schedule Details/Additional Information:
Full Time Nights (7p to 7a) Rotating weekends as needed What You Will Do Coordinate daily unit operations, patient flow, and staff resources to ensure efficient, high-quality care delivery. Provide direct patient care as needed using the nursing process, including assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation. Foster communication among patients, families, physicians, and care teams to support service excellence and patient satisfaction. Serve as a clinical and operational resource by training, mentoring, assigning work, and providing performance feedback in partnership with leadership. Assist with staffing, scheduling, recruitment, employee relations, and workforce management to maintain appropriate coverage and team engagement. Monitor quality, compliance, and regulatory standards while ensuring adherence to departmental policies, procedures, and best practices. Support unit operations through budget input, supply and equipment management, program development, vendor coordination, and age-specific patient care expertise.
What We Are Looking For Licensure:
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices, and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months unless department leader has determined it is not required.
Education/Experience Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Health Related Field; or Associate Degree and enrolled in BSN program within 2 years of hire and complete BSN degree within 5 years Typically requires 3 years of experience in clinical nursing within an acute care setting.
Certification Addendum:
