Where You Will Work:
The unit has 41 beds. As a nurse in this department, you will assist the telemetry team area only.
We're Looking For:
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association and ACLS Must possess at minimum 2 years telemetry, critical care, Cath Lab, or PACU nursing experience A passionate nurse who is committed to ongoing personal and professional development while contributing to a positive unit culture built on teamwork, accountability, and collaboration.
What You'll Do:
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Provide compassionate, high-quality care for telemetry patients by closely monitoring cardiac rhythms, responding to changes in patient condition, supporting safe transitions of care, and partnering with the interdisciplinary team to promote excellent outcomes.
About This Location:
Advocate South Suburban Hospital, part of the Advocate Southland Health Network, is an acute-care facility providing a wide range of comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic and ambulatory medical services. In addition to offering an array of hospital services, this not-for-profit facility provides free screenings and a variety of other outreach services throughout the community.
