Job Responsibilities:

Provide professional nursing services and health support to students in a school environment. Assess student health needs and provide appropriate nursing interventions. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized student healthcare plans. Administer medications, treatments, and emergency care according to established protocols. Respond to student illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies. Maintain accurate and confidential health records and documentation. Coordinate with parents, healthcare providers, and school personnel regarding student health concerns. Provide health education, screenings, and wellness initiatives for students and staff. Ensure compliance with school health policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Minimum Qualifications Current, valid, and unrestricted Illinois license/certification in good standing, as required for the position. Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a School Registered Nurse . Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
