This full-time, contract role is ideal for a Certified School Nurse (CSN) ready to make a positive impact across multiple school sites throughout the full academic year. Located near Elgin, IL, youll collaborate closely with dedicated health office RNs and health clerks at each location, while partnering with a team of CSNs to promote student well-being and high-quality care.

Key Qualifications:

Valid RN licensure and Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential required Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel between sites as needed Proficiency with health documentation and student management systems

What Youll Do:

Deliver direct nursing care to students across five schools (four elementary, one early childhood) Monitor and implement individualized medical care plans for students with ongoing health needs Supervise health office RNs and health clerks, fostering collaborative, effective care teams Conduct IEP meetings and perform initial and re-evaluations for eligible students Oversee accurate health data management within student information systems Provide health education and serve as a health resource for staff, students, and families This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive network of nursing professionals while making a real difference in the lives of students.
