May be required based on assignment needs Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse license required At least 2 years of emergency nursing experience required Previous travel nurse experience required; first-time travelers are not eligible Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required Experience in a general ED serving combined adult and pediatric patients Strong charting system experience required Ability to adapt quickly in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency department Must be comfortable working nights and every weekend Responsibilities Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population Assess, triage, and stabilize patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions as indicated Monitor patients with respiratory, cardiac, neurological, traumatic, and behavioral health concerns Support procedures such as intubation assistance, chest tube management, and blood product administration Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, efficient care Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with facility standards Promote a calm, organized, and patient-centered environment during high-volume shifts Apply now to join this Illinois healthcare job and advance your emergency nursing career in Lincoln, IL.
