Schedule/Hours:
Day Shift On-Call Rotation (Weeknights, Weekends, and Holidays)
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (education verification required) Current IL RN license BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required at submission Minimum of 3 years RN experience, with at least 1 year in critical care Demonstrated experience with Cardiovascular Intervention Successful EKG test prior to end of orientation
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team using critical thinking and the nursing process Conduct patient assessments, plan, and implement care interventions Administer medications and treatments per protocols Ensure comprehensive and accurate documentation in alignment with facility and regulatory standards Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans Educate patients and families to support care understanding Participate in performance improvement and shared governance initiatives Offer clinical guidance across departments, and address care system challenges constructively Contribute to peer review and ongoing professional development
