A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. Job Description

Shift/Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8a-4:30-5pm | 40 hours per week Rotating Holidays and weekends - usually scheduled out a year.
Pay scale begins at:
$37/hr
Responsibilities:
As a MDS Coordinator (RN), you will be responsible for timely and accurate completion of both the RAI (Resident Assessment Instrument ) Process and care management process from admission to discharge in accordance with company policy and procedures, and Federal, State and Certification guidelines, and all other entities as appropriate- Minimum Data Set, discharge, and admission tracking, etc. With direction from the Director of Nursing and VP of Clinical Reimbursement, you may coordinate information systems operations and education for the clinical department.
Must Haves:
License:
IL State RN License (will consider temporary IL license)

N/A Experience:
1-3 years of nursing experience At least 1 year of experience in a
LTC/SNF/AL/MC
setting Must have knowledge of the care planning process Must have a thorough understanding of the Quality Indicator process, OBRA regulations, and Minimum Data Set Prior MDS experience Prior experience with Case-Mix, Federal Medicare PPS process, and Medicaid reimbursement
