Full Time, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Join our Maternal Services team as a Registered Nurse Float! In this role, you will coordinate and provide patient care across assigned units within the Maternal Child division under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Patient Care Manager. As part of the interdisciplinary team, you will use your nursing knowledge and skills to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses and the nursing philosophy at UnityPoint Health. Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards of care Assess patients' and families' needs, provide education, and coordinate appropriate referrals to ensure continuity of care Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care for assigned patients Delegate and provide direction to other healthcare team members while maintaining accountability for patient outcomes Maintain accurate and timely documentation while promoting patient safety and compliance with healthcare regulations and standards

Qualifications:

Education:

Diploma from an RN program. License(s)/Certification(s): Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state. Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state. Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Must possess and maintain ACLS Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
