We are a private duty home care agency that genuinely cares about our patients and we have immediate openings in the Cook and Will County areas for compassionate pediatric nurses. BrightStar Care in Orland Park is looking to hire a Registered Nurse (RN) for a pediatric home health case in Montgomery, IL (Oswego border). Care is for a 10-year-old male with G-Tube, Trach, Vent and additional complex care needs. We are hiring for overnight shifts (any nights). Hours are 6pm-6am. We have Full-Time, Part-Time and PRN availability at this time. Requirements Pediatric nursing experience Unencumbered license as an RN in the state of Illinois Certified CPR IL Mandated Reporter TB skin test, chest x-ray, annual physical Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients during shifts, ensuring their comfort and safety. Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs, administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Tube feeding, trach suctioning and vent monitoring, as needed. (case by case scenario) Maintain accurate patient records (Notes and charting) Respond promptly to emergencies, utilizing basic life support skills and airway management techniques.
