Job Description

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for providing excellent nursing care to cardiovascular clinic patients. Will actively participate in non-invasive diagnostic testing conducted in the scope of the cardiology clinic services. Assist provider with collection of data, patient/family education, community outreach and coordination of care activities
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional/Educational Graduate of an accredited RN school. BSN preferred. Current Illinois Registered Professional Nursing license with biennial renewal. Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Experience in Ambulatory Care Clinics. Proficient with computers. DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required. Personal Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy. Possesses the ability to work under pressure. Demonstrates leadership and teaching ability. Willingness to be flexible and adaptable. Maintains the Standards of Conduct. Evidence of knowledge and ability to use proper channels of communication. Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
