Registered Nurse (RN)

Full time, 35 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm Job Summary The Washington County Health Department is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. Working under the supervision of our Nursing Programs Coordinator, this individual will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a supportive environment for a diverse range of clients. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work independently and manage time efficiently, the ability to collaborate with our clinical team, and a commitment to compassion and respect for our clients. Duties may include, but are not limited to: Administering immunizations to individuals from infancy to adulthood Tracking communicable diseases Drawing blood for lab work Assisting in WIC and Case Management programs to offer consistent care to infants, children, and birthing individuals Collaborating in the development and implementation of public health community education services and events Collaborating with community health organizations to connect clients with a wide range of resources Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Illinois license Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong professional communication skills Previous experience in public health is preferred To Apply Please submit an application, resume, and all necessary documentation to wchd189@yahoo.com.
