ASN Unit Details:
Cares for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Unit procedures/equipment include IV access (peripheral, central line, PICC, and/or Infusaport), IM and SQ injections, chest tube insertion and management, sequential compression device, blood glucose monitor, PCA machine, thoracentesis and paracentesis, TPN, thrombolytic therapy, Kangaroo Pump, and central line insertion.
Shift & Scheduling:
Weekends and holidays as needed.
Floating Requirements:
Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.
