The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient-centered care by performing assessments, developing, implementing, and modifying individualized care plans based on patient needs and clinical evaluations. They ensure accurate documentation, administer medications, and assist with procedures such as airway management, central lines, and other specialized interventions. The RN maintains patient and staff safety, reports safety hazards, and collaborates effectively with the healthcare team, patients, and families to promote a healing environment. They also participate in staff training, supervise new employees, and ensure equipment and supplies are properly managed.

Qualifications include:

active RN license, BLS certification within 30 days, PALS and ACLS certifications within specified timeframes, and a nursing diploma. Key skills involve strong communication, safety awareness, clinical proficiency, teamwork, and adaptability to evolving healthcare needs.
