An Emergency Room Registered Nurse cares for patients in a hospital Emergency Room. Works with Physicians and other clinicians as part of an emergency care team. Provides emergency medical care and emotional support to patients and families dealing with trauma.
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room (ER) team. The ER RN will provide rapid, safe, and evidence-based care to patients with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries. The ideal candidate is confident working in a fast-paced environment, skilled in emergency assessment and stabilization, and able to prioritize care effectively.
Responsibilities:
Perform rapid assessments, triage, and ongoing reassessments of patients based on acuity. Provide emergency nursing care to patients with medical, surgical, traumatic, and critical conditions. Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols. Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, oxygen saturation, and other clinical parameters. Assist with emergency procedures, resuscitation, airway management, and stabilization of critically ill patients. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, laboratory staff, and other members of the healthcare team.
Requirements:
2-year of recent experience Active IL State License
BLS, ACLS, PALS & NIHSS
Pay:
$2,500.00 - $2,900.00 per week
