None About the Role MedOp Solutions is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 13-week night-shift travel assignment. This is a high-priority opportunity for an RN with strong acute care and critical care skills who can confidently manage high-acuity patients in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must demonstrate strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills, experience managing and titrating IV drips, and the ability to quickly recognize and respond to changes in patient condition. Department Information The Emergency Services department provides rapid assessment, stabilization, treatment, and ongoing nursing care for patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions. This role requires a nurse who can work effectively with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining patient safety, privacy, and high standards of clinical care. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care Provide direct nursing care within the RN scope of practice Recognize and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition Perform cardiac rhythm and telemetry strip interpretation Administer and titrate IV medications and critical care drips Monitor hemodynamic status and diagnostic results Communicate significant clinical changes and abnormal findings to physicians Provide patient and family education Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Protect patient privacy and confidentiality Maintain established standards of emergency and critical care nursing Qualifications Required Current and valid Registered Nurse license Minimum 1 year of recent staff RN experience in an acute care hospital/critical care setting Emergency Department and/or critical care experience Current BLS Current ACLS Strong cardiac rhythm/strip interpretation skills Experience with IV drip management and titration Ability to manage high-acuity patients and respond quickly to clinical deterioration Preferred CCRN - Critical Care Registered Nurse Certification COVID vaccination/boosters Floating Requirements Candidates must be comfortable floating between: ICU Telemetry Orientation Facility and department-specific orientation will be provided prior to independent assignment.
