You'll play a vital role in providing specialized nursing care to a child with complex medical needs, ensuring their health and safety alongside their educational journey.

Key Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Previous pediatric or school nursing experience preferred Confidence in managing G-tube care, wheelchair transfers, VP shunt monitoring, and seizure precautions Skilled in communicating with non-verbal students and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Strong documentation abilities and attention to detail

Your Role and Contributions:

Deliver individualized nursing care for one student with significant medical needs throughout the school day Perform medical interventions, medication administration, G-tube feeding, and seizure monitoring as required Conduct health assessments and recognize early signs of distress or medical complications Serve as an essential health resource to educational staff and the students family, providing guidance and support Help ensure a safe and inclusive school environment that enables the student to thrive both medically and academically This contract position offers a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from now through May 28, 2027. You'll be a key advocate for your student, making every day count for them and supporting their access to education and personal growth.
