Job Description

Nurse overnight shift every other Saturday and Sunday We are in search of wonderful, dedicated people to join our team. We offer a $2.50/hr. shift differential for NOC shifts! We offer excellent benefits, a small family-focused, non-profit nursing home and competitive salaries. Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Qualifications and Skills:
Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Nursing Valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Practical Nurse (LPN) License with the State of [Illinois] Must possess good written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English. Previous experience in long-term care preferred Knowledge and use of electronic health record software Leadership qualities include but not limited to communication and organizational skills, confidentiality, professional conduct and integrity. Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Job Responsibility and Duties:
Administer and document prescribed medications/treatments accurately and timely in compliance with policies and procedures. Daily observation of Residents with ability to recognize and report changes in status/condition. Supervision and follow up of Nursing Assistant care and assignments. Assess and evaluate assigned residents daily and report to relief nurses. Participate in the development and carrying out of each resident's plan of care. The successful candidates will be part of a caring, interdisciplinary team that provides exceptional care and love for the elderly residents. We are looking for individuals who have compassion for the elderly and who would like to make a difference in people's lives.
