- The Lead Registered Nurse (RN) at

is responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This role involves coordinating with healthcare professionals, managing patient care plans, and implementing nursing policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient healthcare environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the nursing team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal patient care.
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers and other medical staff.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to achieve desired health outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, maintaining a safe and effective care environment.
- Conduct regular training and development sessions for nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes.
- Manage nursing schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet patient care needs.
- Address patient and family concerns, providing information and support to ensure a positive care experience.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of nursing policies and procedures.
Qualifications Required Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a leadership role.
- Experience in geriatric care or long-term care settings is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of managing nursing teams and coordinating patient care effectively.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to mentor and develop nursing staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology.
- Ability to assess patient conditions and implement appropriate care plans.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations.
