The Wellness Nurse-RN at

PEACE VILLAGE

is responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This role involves coordinating with healthcare professionals, managing patient care plans, and implementing nursing policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the nursing team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal patient care.
• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers and other medical staff.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to achieve desired health outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, maintaining a safe and effective care environment.
• Conduct regular training and development sessions for nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes.
• Manage nursing schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet patient care needs.
• Address patient and family concerns, providing information and support to ensure a positive care experience.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of nursing policies and procedures.

Qualifications Required Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in Assisted Living/Memory Care, preferably in a leadership role.
• Experience in geriatric care or long-term care settings is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of managing nursing teams and coordinating patient care effectively.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to mentor and develop nursing staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology.
• Ability to assess patient conditions and implement appropriate care plans.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations.
