Exciting opportunity for a Certified School Nurse (CSN) or CSN student to provide crucial health services at a dynamic elementary school near Plainfield, IL. This contract position is available ASAP through the end of the school year (5/28/27), with the chance to make a significant impact in a supportive educational environment. The role involves managing the health office, conducting medical reviews, and collaborating within the IEP and 504 process—all vital components of school health services. Daily hours are 8:25am to 3:40pm, Monday through Friday. Interviews for this position are conducted in person, and consistent attendance is essential for student and staff well-being.

Key Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with PEL endorsement for Certified School Nurse—must have more than an RN license Completion of or current enrollment in CSN courses (can take 1-2 years) Experience as a CSN or in school nursing is highly desirable Bilingual Spanish-speaking skills are a big plus Strong initiative and ability to work independently Demonstrated teamwork, flexibility, and reliability Comfortable with technology, including electronic health records and electronic IEP/504 documentation Willingness to assist students with personal care needs if necessary
