Opportunity:
Cardiac Stepdown Job Details:
  • Work as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing professional/clinical knowledge and skills in patient care management
  • 1:4-5 patient ratio maintained
  • Every other weekend schedule required
  • May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
  • 16-hour NBO (non-benefitted overtime) available
  • Work with EPIC electronic medical record system
  • 2 years of previous cardiac stepdown experience required
  • EPIC experience mandatory
  • First time travelers accepted
  • Must have 24 months of current stepdown/progressive care experience
  • Skills checklist specific to stepdown/progressive care discipline required
  • Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
  • Iowa or Illinois nursing license required
  • Active Illinois license must be verified through Nursys at time of submission
