Pay Rate:

RN Shifts:

12hr, 19:00-07:00

Job Summary:

Provides specialized cardiac care and monitoring in hospital telemetry units and manage patients with unstable cardiac conditions, post-surgical recovery, or complex conditions requiring high-acuity, 24/7 care.

Key Responsibilities:

High-level knowledge of cardiac medicine and EKG interpretation. Administer medications and maintain patient records. Observe and report patient responses and complications. Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and treatments. Collaborate with healthcare team and participate in shift handoffs. Adhere to infection control and emergency response protocols.

Requirements:

RN license in state of assignment. Compact License AllowedMust have taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility Minimum 2-year(s) exp. BLS and ACLS required. NIHSS and MOAB preferred. Experience in telemetry or step-down preferred. Strong assessment, multitasking, and crisis management skills.

Work Environment & Demands:

Will work every other weekend Hospital settings (Med-Surg units, post-op recovery, step-down). Physical demands include standing, lifting patients/equipment, and stress management.
