A Cardiology Registered Nurse provides care for patients with heart problems. Performs cardiac tests and assessments, educates patients and families about cardiac disease and preventative health care, and cares for patients after heart surgery. Works with specialized monitoring and treatment equipment. Trained to provide emergency medical care to cardiac patients. Works under the supervision of a physician. Works in hospital cardiology or intensive care units or cardiac rehabilitation programs.

Job Description
Work Schedule:
100% FTE Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. - Graduate from an approved School of Nursing Program. Required
- Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required Work Experience
- 2 years of cardiovascular nursing or related experience. Preferred Licenses & Certifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois. Required
- Basic Life Support certification required within 90 days of hire. Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
