Float Pool Registered Nurse Shift - Nights (7:00P - 7:30A) Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Float Pool Nurse to join our vibrant healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care across multiple departments and units, including Medical Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke Neuro, Step-Down ICU and ICU units. Duties Deliver comprehensive patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and physical examinations across different units. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform venipuncture with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques. Assist with procedures such as suturing, catheterization (including urinary and vascular), tube feeding, and ostomy care. Operate and troubleshoot medical equipment including ventilators, dialysis machines, and laboratory analyzers; ensure proper documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, pain management strategies, and triage protocols for urgent or complex cases. Maintain infection control standards by following CDC guidelines; ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Qualifications 2 years of nursing experience. Must have ICU experience.
