Qualifications:

Active RN license in Illinois required Minimum 1 year of recent experience with trach and vent care Previous experience as a School RN or in pediatric settings preferred CPR/BLS certification Strong communication and organizational skills Dependable and compassionate approach to 1:1 care

Responsibilities:

Provide direct, one-on-one nursing care for a fifth-grade student (trach/vent dependent) Monitor and document the students status during school hours (8am-3pm) Accompany and assist the student during bus rides as part of the daily schedule Respond promptly to any medical needs or emergencies Collaborate with educators, other healthcare professionals, and family members Support the students access to education and safety from late October to the end of the school year (EOSY)
