Job Description

Pay Rate:
Up to $63/hr combined (taxable hourly + tax-free allowances for travel, housing, meals). Rates may vary and are subject to change. Additional Bonuses, Group Health Insurance benefits available on day 1, 401k and more! Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Summary:
Provides direct care to patients in a general medical-surgical setting. Manages a variety of medical conditions, assists with post-operative recovery, performs assessments, administers medications, and ensures patient comfort and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Monitor vital signs and patient status. Provide pre- and post-operative care, wound care, and pain management. Administer medications and treatments, observing for reactions. Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with physicians and care teams. Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and lifestyle modifications. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols. Respond to emergencies and assist in life-saving procedures as needed.
Requirements:
RN license in state of assignment. BLS required; ACLS preferred. Experience in medical-surgical units preferred. Must have Trauma 1 and EPIC experience required. Strong clinical, assessment, and communication skills.
Work Environment & Demands:
Hospital settings (Med-Surg units, post-op recovery, step-down). Rotating shifts, nights, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include standing, lifting patients/equipment, and stress management.
