Pay Rate:

Job Summary:

Provides post-operative care for the complex surgical population.

Key Responsibilities:

Assesses and intervenes appropriately to ensure positive outcomes during the post-operative phase. Monitors and cares for newly tracheostomies. Assesses and maintains wounds that require a wound vac and other complex wound management Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with physicians and care teams. Assesses, manages and educates patient and families on new ostomies.

Requirements:

RN license in state of assignment. BLS (AHA) required. Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience required. Strong clinical, assessment, and communication skills.

Work Environment & Demands:

Hospital settings (post-op recovery, step-down). Rotating shifts, nights, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include standing, lifting patients/equipment, and stress management.
