Registered Nurse - Operating Room (Plastic Surgery)
Shift Type:
PRN; as needed 8 to 16 hours per week We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operating Room Nurse (Plastic Surgery) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This vital role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are sterile and ready for procedures Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operations, providing support and ensuring adherence to safety protocols Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition throughout surgical procedures Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of surgical procedures and patient information Follow strict infection control and safety standards to prevent complications Provide preoperative and postoperative care instructions to patients and their families Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care before, during, and after surgery
Requirements:
Skills and Qualifications:
Valid nursing license (RN) in the relevant state or country Proven experience in an operating room or surgical setting / 3 Years or more Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterilization techniques, and infection control practices Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations Attention to detail and strong organizational skills BLS and ACLS certification (or equivalent) preferred Join our organization and enjoy a supportive work environment that values professional growth, continuous learning, and compassionate patient care.
